Mission
In our effort to ensure the highest levels of service and product possible for our customers, we are committed to three key principles that define our corporate culture.
Never stoop to the mediocre.
From sourcing the best ingredients for our formulations and packaging to delivery of premium products, fairly priced to our customers and everywhere in between, our commitment to quality is paramount.
e.g. We will never source lower quality oils, ingredients, or packaging to make more profit.
Do the right thing not the easy one.
The customer places their trust in us to help them. That means doing everything we can to live up to the highest standards of sourcing, production, packaging, and delivery we can. It also means being as environmentally conscious as we can as good citizens, stewards for the next generation. We strive to exceed expectations.
e.g. We use amber glass jars that can be reused instead of one-time use plastic.
Own your responsibility for the future.
Take ownership. Take initiative. Interact with the world to mold it to be a better place. If you see something that could be better, make it better. If something is unfair, make it fair. The world is what we make it, and we are responsible for making it better.
e.g. We are committed to a $20/hr minimum living wage for all of our employees.
Beyond our commitment to our customers and employees, we believe we have a responsibility to the greater community to bring about positive change in the world.
5% of profits are donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Sick children and their families shouldn't be burdened with costs or other considerations when their focus should be on the child getting better. In addition to the 5% of profits, we hold a yearly charity giveaway event with all proceeds going to St. Jude's. If you're interested, join our mailing list today!
Environmental impact commitment.
Beyond the re-usable glass jars instead of single-use plastic, we are highly committed to using as little plastic or other non-biodegradable waste products as possible during the procurement, production, and packaging of our products. We also commit to using recyclable products whenever possible. If we do not each attempt to make a difference, no difference will be made.
Friendly Neighborhood Apothecary Company.
Being a good employer, wholesaler & retailer also means engaging positively and with purpose in our local community. Whenever possible we sponsor local activities and initiatives to better our city and state. We also encourage all of our employees and customers to volunteer at least 40 hours a year with an organization whose cause you support. We also are active in our local neighborhood cleanup activities to help eliminate litter and improve Albuquerque's natural beauty. Together, change is possible, particularly from the ground up!
